Hand Painted Signs

The above sign has a carved out background, carved border with painted lettering. I offer hand lettering as a stand alone for those who want a sign other then one of the 3 dimensional signs. hand lettered signs offer a more artistic look then that of computer generated vinyl signs.

I use both hand lettering and sometimes vinyl letters on some carved signs where the client may want to put their money into 23k gold leaf on the main letters rather than having the secondary letters carved.

Hand lettering, also known as letter writing is becoming a lost art as the computer mussels its way into every possible aspect of our lives. For better or for worst! Hey, I'm not one to complain because why would I be doing this Web Site if I despised the creepy things? Even though I rely on the computer to assist me and my business, all of my signs except the vinyl letters are laid out free hand.

Send a sketch with dimensions or your layout for a price quote. To have an illustration or logo added to your sign, please enclose photos and/or drawings.

Be sure to be as specific as possible as to what you want. Include size, style of sign, type of wood if you desire something other than pine, kind of finish and anything else you can think of.

Please enclose two (SASE), one for your quote, and the second to return any materials you might have sent. Send your Information to the address at the bottom of this page.
